Jayden Daniels, the new skater of the school. He pushed the doors open and let the cool, icy breeze brush against him. He looked around the yard. No one. Well, it was during school hours, but still, he didn't think this school would be all goody two shoes. He skipped down the stairs and turned behind them. He took out a packet of cigarettes and his red lighter, his father gave him and leaned against the brick wall. He slid down to the ground, and adjusted his legs to be more comfortable. His knees were brought up to his chest, and he let his elbows sit on them. He lit his cigarette and in haled deeply, the heat of the smoke warmed his body up. This was probably the one and only reason why he loved winter. To feel the warmth of the cigarette fill his body. It felt good. He sighed and leaned his head back onto the wall.

Karlee was cutting class. Who cared? The professor sucked up to her anyway. Maybe he just thought he could get in her pants, maybe he wanted her to tell mommy to give him a raise. Karlee giggled to himself. Teachers were so gullible! She had pranced a bit around campus, but it only led a frown. The only place any students would be right now was the Courtyard. Thats the place the 'bad' kids were. Karlee smiled at the thought. She headed there.
Upon arrival, she found a few kids talking or leaning against the wall. Nobody looked intriguing. Until she spotted a guy smoking, as he sat against the wall. She glided over and squated in front of him. "Didn't anyone ever tell you smoking was bad?" Karlee smirked at him. She'd never seen this boy before.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you smoking was bad?"
Jayden looked up to see who spoke to him. He saw a girl squatting down in front of him smirking. He smirked back and before he said anything he took one long drag from his cigarette. He was about done anyways. His packet was finishing.
"...I think I read it in a magazine once." he smirked again. He has heard of her. Karlee Jameson. The school slut. You could tell she was that kind of person at first glance anyways. Long, blond hair, hot body, everyone at the palm of her hand.
He took his last drag, and scrubbed it against the wall he was leaning on, leaving a black streak of ash. "There. I'm done. Now are you going to tell me to get back to class as well?" he said as he raised a brow at her.

Karlee pouted at his response. He was almost snippy toward her. And she couldn't tell whether he was kidding or not. Which was a shame, since she could usually read people better than a book. "Yes, because that's exactly where I am right now, isn't it?"
She slouched her shoulders a bit and a cross necklace fell from inside her white sweater. She didn't notice, however. It was a necklace her father had given her. She glanced at the streak his cigarrette left. She almost laughed, because she knew if her mother saw it she would freak.
Karlee glanced back at the boy and studied his face for a moment.
"Are you new here?"

Jayden laughed lightly. He only shrugged at her reply. He looked at the girl, who he thought would never in a million years talk to him, and wondered if she were those kinds of people who tattle-tailed. Considering he was in this school, she might. But what did he care? As long as his grades were up and high, they wouldn't dare kick him out.
"Are you new here?" she asked, Jayden blinked out of thought and nodded.
"And you care, why?" thought he really did wonder why. Maybe she was just bored and needed someone to play around out. He wasn't the only one skipping class. He let out of a puff of air and ruffled the back of his hair, he might as well not put her in a bad mood, so after a moment he answered her question, "Yeah, I am."

And you care why? Karlee stifled a laugh. So he was going to play difficult. She scowled at him before sitting down, her legs crossed in Indian-style. Yeah, I am. Karlee looked up at for a moment, before going back to picking in the patch of grass that lay before her. "I figured as much. I haven't seen you around. And I haven't had the chance to go through my mother's files lately." She figured he knew that she was the Headmistress's daughter. Everyone knew that, unless they were new anyway. But the last name was kind of a give away.
Her first instinct was to give away her name, in case he might not know. But she held back. This boy is certainly not in a good mood, yet, she thought.

"I figured as much. I haven't seen you around. And I haven't had the chance to go through my mother's files lately." Jayden felt a small smile tug at his lips. The Headmistress' daughter was a bad girl. What a match. He wondered about the relationship between the two.
He watched her hand go to pick on the blades of grass, "Well, I'll save you the time. The name's Jayden Daniels," he said, as the wind blew his hair to the opposite side. He huffed angrily and sweeped his bangs to the side, like he always does, revealing two light blue eyes.
"Stupid wind," he muttered before he added, "and I take it you are Karlee Jameson, Headmistresses' daughter?" He didn't mean for it to be a question. He knew who she was. It didn't even take an hour when he arrived to hear about her.

"Jayden." She repeated, letting his name roll off her tongue. "Very nice." Just as his bangs blew in his face, Karlee's hair took off as well. She straigtened it back out. "I know how you feel."
"Yes, you are very observant. Did you read the boy's bathroom stalls?" She giggled a bit. She knew what they wrote about her. Naughty things. But sometimes they wrote about what a slut she was. And she was one, that was for sure. They wrote about Jasmine, too. But Karlee didn't care much, most of the stuff was true. She knew, because she sneaks in there a lot. Rather just to read what people write, or she goes in there with a boy to have fun.

"Yes, you are very observant. Did you read the boy's bathroom stalls?" At first Jayden gave a small blush, that you'd have to study his face to see it. He didn't really realize it. It was true. The bathroom stalls did have stuff written on them. Then he smirked.
"How would you know what's written on the boy's bathroom stalls?" he gave a wink, which was another habit he had. Sexy, yet totally unnecessary.
He needed another smoke now. It felt like a need anyway. He took out his packet and checked inside, 5 left. How wonderful. He knew Karlee already told him off for it, but he didn't care. He flicked one out and lighted it. It took some time to light it thought because of the wind, so he turned to the side. He finally lit it and took a drag.
...he wondered, "Want one?" he said, as he faced the packet towards Karlee. He still tried to be polite.
