Our Ickle Ronniekins had woken up with a splitting headache, as if he had slammed his head on his headboard several times that night. Not acting with intelligence the previous night, he had tossed a fit in his four poster bed, the hangings pulled shut tightly. That hadn’t stopped the rest of his roommates from hearing his frustration, the sound of ripping cloth resonated throughout the sixth year Gryffindor room. His maturity level that evening had dropped at least ten points leaving him with the flair of a seven year old. Furthermore, his sleep had been a restless one; tossing and turning throughout the night waking up to find himself in a cold sweat. Ron felt he deserved the punishment, at some point it had to sink through his thick skull. Getting over his own insecurities was tougher than he thought. Yet the discussion with Harry had at least relieved his conscience to a point. No other student in the room knew the exact details that had been swimming around in his head, which seemed to be getting the best of him. Other students must have thought he was a prat, not that he could blame them. Actually, Ron did not want to know what terrible things they thought of him as long as Harry knew that he was not completely pathetic.
Stumbling down the stone steps of the Gryffindor tower, he scanned the Common Room for any sight of Hermione or Lavender. For both girls sakes he hoped they were avoiding each others presence, knowing fully well that Hermione would win any battle they may partake in. Harry was still sound asleep upstairs; the evening must have been tiring on his already weakened self. Instead of waiting for a familiar face, Ron proceeded to leave the portrait of the Fat Lady who scowled shrewdly when he ignored her kindly morning greeting. A chill wind swept through the corridor, and his lanky figure shivered before pulling his robes closer for warmth. The barren hallways provided a solitary escape from his existence. There would be no one searching for him if he chose to take a longer route to the Great Hall. There would be no prying eyes or ears attempting to catch the latest news on the Hermione/Ron/Lavender triangle. Oh the messes Ron found himself in.
Gripping the fabric of his robes, the Weasley male entered the Great Hall slowly, sidling past the wooden doors trying to catch a glimpse of the Gryffindor table before it spotted him. Luckily, Ron saw no other sixth year students and returned to a normal pace and seated himself closer to the middle of the table. There were few students here in the hall, some catching up on homework in order to have the entire day off for leisurely activities. He hadn’t bothered to check a clock for the time so it was quite possible that he was now sitting quietly at the Gryffindor table at some ungodly hour. Searching the teachers table, Professor Sprout arrived alongside Professor Flitwick. As the minutes passed more and more students filled the hall, with their tired squinting eyes adapting to the sunlight. Facing forward Ron resented their lack of awareness towards his precious situation. Maybe it had been for the better, the less knowledge they held, the fewer whispers would be heard passing through the hall.
A shriek was heard from behind him, followed by some sort of speech that sounded oddly like “Won Won”. Ron had even shorter time to comprehend before Lavender sank down beside him with a wide smile across her face. Suddenly the Weasley understood what Won Won had stood for and watched her with wide eyes. Lavender must have escaped the Gryffindor tower before Hermione; they couldn’t have arrived together now could they?

full name; alinea lilane manchester
age; 17
grade; 12 / senior
desired clique; preps
physical description; This girl is the empitome of gorgeous. She keeps her hair at elbow length and maintains it in various styles. It naturally is wavy; just the perfect mixture of curls and straight. Her hair has never been colored in any way, so the dark brunette is her natural hair color. Her eyes are a deep blue that do not change color depending on the light. Alinea's eyes are said to be her more attractive feature. She stands at 5'6 and weighs a normal 125 pounds. Alinea is a stylish girl, that has a "passion for fashion" (oh how cliche). She wouldn't be caught dead in a lazy state of sweat pants and baggy sweaters unless she is planning on sleeping or lazing around the house.
Her complexion is a naturally tanned color which she gets from her mothers exotic side. Small freckles are sprinkled across her nose and are only noticeable when a person is looking closely. Alinea's face is slightly elongated like an oval, with high cheekbones and a long nose set proportionally on her face. She has a tattoo across her right shoulder that reads "We will all laugh at gilded butterflies." which is a quote from her favorite Shakespeare play King Lear.
history; Alinea was born to David and Lysia Manchester. He parents met when her British father was on a business trip in Brazil and it wasn't long until they had a family started in New York. Two brothers were born before Alinea arrived and she was the last of David and Lysia's children. Living with two older brothers wasn't always easy for her, but at the same time it was nice because she always had two backup's if anything ever went wrong. Boy did things go wrong. At an early age, Alinea was a trouble maker. Not in the normal "get kicked out of school" trouble, but she was sneaky and attracted social drama quickly.
In elementry school she would often trick fellow students into trading parts of their lunches and would wind up getting both hers and her friends lunches. Once Alinea reached middle school she tamed herself much to the astonishment of everyone around her. She became more studious and would often be seen only slipping around the hallways avoiding people all together. Alinea was a troubled child. She didn't know where she belonged and often would go through many phases of geek, punk, emo and preppy before she decided to just forget cliques all together.
Before her senior year of high school began she took a trip to Brazil to travel around her mothers hometown and it helped her find her way in life. Now returning back for her final year, she has become the person she wants her to be and doesn't need her brothers help.
personality;
sweet as sin
This girl is tastefully sweet, of course only to the people she is fond of. She loves to donate her time to various organizations such as animal shelters and environmental protection. Alinea is kind, generous and thoughtful only when she wants to be. If she despises you, its often a good idea to avoid her path or you will be destroyed. Its not that she is on a rampage to ruin lives, she is just known for being brutally honest and often people take it the wrong way.
laugh at gilded butterflies
Like her tattoo, Alinea isn't very forgiving on posers or suck-ups. She will often be caught poking fun at these people, only if they walk into the situation of course. She realizes she used to be a poser a long time ago and by pushing them she hopes to only help them find their place in society. What she doesn't realize is that these people don't want her help and only get offended. Her naivety doesn't help her situation much.
not impressed? too bad
Alinea doesn't bother to try and impress people. She couldn't care less what people think about her, which is an admirable trait. This girl doesn't flirt for fun to try and raise her status in the school, it doesn't really matter to her. So what if she studies? She likes to do well in school and if people consider her a geek, well thats to bad.
all in all
Even though she may come across as rude and cold-hearted she really isn't. Also, she isn't brutally honest because she feels she is better than others, or better looking. In fact she thinks she is just an average looking girl. Alinea is brutally honest and picks at people because she is insecure. Sort of a bullying complex in a way. Once again, this girl is a walking contradiction, which can be very entertaining for others.
