the real you; name; ailynn age; 14 role-play example;
your character; full name; willow freja marie requiem, formerly erichsen age; seventeen grade; junior desired clique; artists physical description; the.body Unlike the rest of her family Willow is a very tall girl, standing about 5'8". As she was growing up she was very lanky and looked about to break, often being made fun of because of this. Her figure is still basically long and thin, with B-cup breasts and not much hip. Almost everything about her is stick-like, but the way a swan is stick-like. She's only around a hundred and fifteen pounds, thanks to her crazy fast metabolism. the.fashion.sense Willow can be most often seen in black, save for special occasions or when she's feeling like kicking somebody's ass. Her regular outfit is black jeans, a tight black T-shirt, and maybe one of those awesome band hoodies. She never really wears much color, but you can be sure that every outfit she owns will be paired with chunky spiked belts and Doc Martins. the.hair Willow's hair is what she considers her best trait, and as such she keeps it in pristine condition. For most of her life she's had it to just below her shoulders, but just after moving to Adelaide she cut it all off to a short, gorgeous bob. When she feels particularly rebellious she spikes it up into almost a mohawk shape, but most days she just lets it fall. the.face Beautiful is the only way to fully describe Willow's face. It's not conventional beauty though; there's a wild, untamable tinge to that beauty that some people perceive as nastiness. Sure, she's often frowning rather than smiling, but with her past she's allowed. Her nose is thin and straight, owing to her Danish heritage. In comparison with her dark brown hair her skin is extremely pale almost to the point of deathliness. the.eyes Those beautiful brown eyes are one of Willow's strangest traits. There is always some dark secret hidden behind those eyes, and it's not uncommon to see false hardness lurking in their depths. That secret that those eyes hide can never be revealed, or at least, she hopes it won't be. Their strangeness is emphasized by the dark rings of eyeliner that she carefully applies every morning.
history; To begin at the beginning... During a horrible storm in London, England, 16-year-old AJ Holt gave birth to twins, Maddox and Willow. Being from an ultra-conservative Catholic family she was denied adoption or abortion so the childbirth was a bitter rather than happy occasion for AJ. At least her 24-year-old boyfriend Jakkob Erichsen was there, and would be for the next thirteen years. Nobody knew of their relationship, as AJ had never even told anyone she had been pregnant. That's another story entirely.
After the birth of the twins London had nothing left for AJ, so she and Jakkob packed their meagre things in favour of New York, where Jakkob had been offered a job as a teacher in an elementary school. AJ stayed in their tiny flat in the city, taking care of the two kids. It was barely as big as a box, with a kitchen the size of a wardrobe, no living room, one tiny bathroom that could barely fit one person, and one miniature bedroom that AJ and Jakkob shared. The twins had to sleep in their cot in the dining room.
Life went like this for five years. Maddox and Willow grew up quickly, quicker than anybody could have imagined. They saw things that no child should ever have to witness. Every night there was an arguement between Jakkob and AJ. The two young children would sit in Willow's bed, clutching each other, while their father screamed at their mother. AJ was powerless against her partner's wrath, and by the time the twins were nine AJ had been in hospital fifteen times with broken bones.
Despite all of this the Erichsen's secret home life went unnoticed. Willow and Maddox learned to be very convincing liars, and as they grew older Willow noticed that she was different to all the other girls - she was attracted to them. She confronted her parents about this, asking what was wrong with her. AJ was very supportive, but Jakkob pretended that it was nothing when really his anger was threatening to rip him in half.
It all got worse when Willow turned fourteen. After a particularly wild night Jakkob had come home drunk...again...and found some fault with the young girl. When she tried to run away from her intoxicated father her picked her up by the collar of her shirt and smacked her full in the face, the force of the blow knocking her from his hand to the floor. He kept calling her a "disgusting lesbian" through the entire ordeal. Maddox and AJ couldn't help her at all as he kicked her in the stomach and stormed to his room to pass out on the bed.
This became a regular occurence in the twin's lives. It wasn't long before Madd and Jakkob were getting in to fist fights with each other. In the mornings after though, he would always apologise and kiss their welts and bruises. There wasn't a particular time that Willow started doing drugs, but her use became heavier and heavier. It was all she could do to block out the pain.
A few weeks after the twins' fifteenth birthdays Jakkob came home drunk once again. This time he was even angrier at his family and he screamed for AJ. When she came out, shaking horribly, he grabbed her beautiful black hair and threw her to the floor, kicking her until her neck broke with a sickening crack. Maddox and Willow were watching the whole thing.
Jakkob turned around and saw them in the hall. The two tried to run but their crazed father lunged for them, grabbing Maddox by the waist. Willow tried to pull her twin away but their father was too strong. He threw them both to the floor, kicking and slapping them as hard as he could before vomiting, staggering to the couch, and passing out.
It was a wonder Willow survived. All she remembered was waking up in a hospital bed, blood caked around her head. It wasn't hers. The doctors explained the whole thing - a neighbor had heard shouting and called the police. They'd arrested Jakkob and he was awaiting trial in the local prison. Maddox and AJ were dead.
Once released from hospital Willow dropped her last name in favor of Requiem and moved in with her mother's cousin, Nathalia LaVey, a huge star in Europe. The two bonded well but Nathalia would never replace Maddox or AJ. When Willow turned 16 Nathalia figured it would be better for her to try and live away from the city for a while. She sent Willow to Adelaide and she's been there ever since. personality; scary.little.ho Yeah, Willow can be perceived as "scary" by some of the people at school. She can often be found curled up with her Book of Shadows, the semi-notebook thing she writes in that acts as her holy text. If not you can find her in some strange, dark corner, working on a project or her hair. For these reasons she's thought of as a witch by some people. They're absolutely right. artist.in.the.making Artistic pursuits are Willow's way of escaping, and it's a better outlet than self-harm or drugs. She can sing, write, draw and play guitar…badly. Her room is full of her paintings, whether they be portraits of her friends or twisted, melancholy abstract works. Her dream is to be a singer-songwriter, and getting sent to Adelaide has probably increased her chances. hopelessly.addictive Don't let Willow near your stash of drugs – it'll be gone before you can blink. Ever since a stint in rehab she's been much better though, steering clear of controlled substances and even refusing aspirins. However, she still drinks alcohol on a regular basis, and she isn't exactly planning on stopping any time soon.
