Star had been busy for the past few weeks with concerts practically everyday. And on top of that she still needed to do all her school work. So that stormy afternoon she found herself sitting in the library with her work spread around her. She leaned back in her chair and scanned the massive room. She had hoped that someone might come along and she could catch up on all the latest gossip, but unfortunately the only people she has talked to yet has been the librarian and some random creepy guy that kept looking over her shoulder. Slowly Star walked over to one of the computers and she went to the Gossip Girl website, hoping that she could find something of interest. But unfortunately Gossip Girl still had yet to update. So instead Star got up add headed back to her table. She pushed all her papers aside and leaned her head back, closing her eyes. And in doing so she didn’t notice someone approaching.

Post by Melanie McVayne on Jan 19, 2008 13:34:12 GMT -5
Melanie McVayne wandered into the library, planning to do some research for a project she had in biology on taxonomy of animals. She decided to start with a book first, as it was a common requirement to use a minimum of one solid book for research in school projects. The internet was very useful, but wasn't always considered a valid source of information if you didn't go to a reputable site.
She grabbed a couple of books and headed over to a table near the corner of the library. In doing this, she plopped down right next to another student. She hardly noticed the girl at first. On closer observation, however, Melanie noted the girl as Star Williams. Melanie didn't like Star that much, and therefore didn't say a word. Melanie could be picky when it came to people, but she wasn't the type to initiate a conversation with someone she didn't like to make their life a living hell.
