Alinea finished pulling her hair back into a half ponytail sort of style, the rest was tenderly curled and danced around her arms. Done primming, she grabbed her black purse and tossed her Biology book into it quickly. Pulling her brown boots on, she checked herself in the mirror once more before leaving her room. Alinea closed the door behind her loudly, not really caring if others were studying and she was disturbing them. She walked carefully down the stairs and out the door into the winter chill. Good thing her new jacket was warm. Buttoning the rest of it up she followed the shovelled sidewalks to the library. She walked briskly in an attempt to avoid the cold weather but it had already turned her nose red. Damn.
Finally Alinea reached the library and she pulled the door open. She stomped her feet on the mat to loosen any snow that may have attracted itself to her boots and found an empty wooden table to herself. She didn't really like the quietness of the library but if she stayed in her room she would have been distracted and never would have gotten any studying done. Pulling her book out of her bag she pushed the notes she had already written and began reading before jotting down more random facts on her scrap pieces of paper.

Roseline entered the library. Warmth, sweet warmth...
“Finally,” she whispered under her breath as the door behind her came to a loud bang, while closing. She brushed a few strands of hair out of her face and smiled s she saw the familiar books.
She liked the library, it was a quiet place to study, even though she was a party girl, she liked reading at times. Strange, huh? She unzipped her jacket and carried wit her in one hand.
She put her stuff at a nearby table and rubbed her hands together to try and feel warmer. She was wearing some black skinny jeans with a white cashmere sweater and a dark colored scarf. Her shady red hair cascaded down her shoulders, while she reached up for a book on a higher shelf.
When she finally got it, she gave another smile in spite of herself and headed over to the table. No one was there, except for a familiar girl and herself.
“She probably goes to Adelaide,” Rosely whispered to herself and shrugged. ‘Well, it’s always nice to make new friends,’ her subconscious argued. She tiptoed over to her table as not to bother her.
“Hey, I don’t mean to pry, but mind if I share your table, it’s kind of gloomy in here and I don’t want to be alone! I’m Roseline by the way!” she added and extended her hand, with a smile.

God Biology was boring. Whoever thought of teaching it was really very stupid. In Alinea's view anyways. Propping her head on her hand, she adjusted her red glasses before she heard a voice and it sounded as though it was directed towards. Lifting her head, she played with her pen in her left hand and quickly found the source. Alinea wasn't sure if she had seen this girl before and she pursed her lips in concentration.
It must have looked like she was being a bitch, but really Alinea was going over several thoughts in her head. The girl seemed nice enough, maybe to nice. She dressed well so she wasn't some lame student trying to further her position on the social ladder. But then again, if someone was going to do that why hang out with Alinea right? It wasn't like she was extremely popular or anything. Oh what a judgemental girl she was. Finally she smiled half heartedly and took the girls hand with a shake.
"Im Alinea."
She said before writing down her last bit of thoughts from the textbook.
"No go ahead, the seats aren't taken."

She reflected another smile, while shaking the girl’s hand.
“It’s nice to meet you, Alinea!” she added and looked over to her previous seat, “I’ll go get my stuff and I’ll be right back!”
Rosely walked slowly, yet elegantly over to the table and grabbed her coat and books. She sat down carefully and sighed, her eyes filled with bliss; she was filling rather hyper today. It was probably a reaction to the cappuccino she had drunk earlier.
“You go to Adelaide too, I presume?” she asked, trying to be nice and have a normal conversation. She loved meeting new people and making new friends. She tilted her head a little to the side as her slim and fragile hand tugged at her dark red bangs.
She liked her new haircut, most of her friends encouraged it with it; ‘Chic,’ her mother had said in French. But at times, even though it was fashionable and Rosely loved fashion, it got on her nerves.

She nodded her head as the girl left and returned back to her note taking. Alinea lost her train of thought and instead of reading was now just staring at the grain of wood. This girl had ruined it for her, but for some reason today she didn't mind. Roseline had returned and sighed softly with a nod once more. "Ya, but its boring as hell. How long have you been here?"
Sure it was her first year here, she had just transferred and she thought it was boring because she didn't know anyone but that wasn't the point. Instead she chose to blame it on the actual school until it gave her a good impression. Now Alinea knew that this girl went to Adelaide as well, maybe she could give her some good ideas of how to spend her time better.
Turning her paper over she scribbled mindlessly across the top of it before asking the girl, "What are you here studying for?"

“Ah, it’s not boring at all, once you start hanging out with people who share your interest. I didn’t exactly like it at first either, but after a while I stayed positive and I managed to get great friends, although I do try to be friends with everyone!” she added and smiled cheerfully.
“I moved here last year. I love the school! Scholarly, they exceed other schools!” Rosely said and nodded, confident on what she had just said.
“It would be great if we hanged out. I can introduce you to some of my friends and we’ll go to Olive Garden or the Coffee Cove!” She blushed a bit as her accent got in the way of saying things right. She looked at her books and continued the conversation, this time in more of a whisper; she was in a library, but she tended to forget that at times.
“ I came here to just look over some books. Honors English is kind of hard, but I do want to take it, it will help me learn more, even though I’m not from here! The teacher recommended Vanity Fair and I do agree with her. It’s a great book or at least I think it is! But enough about studying! It can become a bore at times. ”
Roseline tried to stop chatting. She kept talking and talking. She did admit she was a talkative person, but most of the time she surpassed the normal range of conversing when she met a new person.
