Robert walked slowly onto eh edge of the swimming pool. The lights were out, except for some in the pool, and it was dark outside. The water reflected beautiful colors and he smiled gently as he crouched down and touched the water. It was though he broke a mirror, the peaceful calm was extinguished in a moment. He took off his clothes and was only in his black shorts as he jumped int eh water, only a glimpse of his lean and fit body was visible as he made a dive for the water. He hold his breath for a few seconds and searched the bottom of the pool. He reached the surface and took a long breath before running a hand through his wet hair and getting ready to do a few laps. He heard footsteps all of a sudden and looked to see who it was, a bit of excitement visible on his face.

Lyra walked though the grounds on her phone. She was speaking to her friend in another school, and boy could she talk. Lyra had left her dorm so she would annoy rose. She was walking laughing at the stories her friends told. "So anything happen at you school?" her friend asked "oh yer because so much happens h...." she stopped as she heard a splash from in the swimming pool "what, Li, what is it." "i think some one is in the pool" she laughed walking in the building. Her friend heard her open the door. "no, Li. you don't go in. have you never watch the movies." Lyra just laughed "well if i don't ring you tomorrow, ring the police." she laughed hanging up her phone. "hello? Is some one there?" she asked trying to make out a figure.

Robert ran a hand through his wet hair and opened his eyes once again. A girl was standing near the edge of the swimming pool with a cell phone in her hand. He nodded and came closer. “Yeah,” he mumbled as he put his hands on the edge, holding on tightly. He shook his head and water splashed everywhere including the girl. He started laughing a bit, but excused himself quickly; manners were always nice to have when you were in the presence of a lady. “I’m Robert,” he added, “I would shake your hand, but I’m afraid I’ll get you even more wet!”

She saw the figure come closer; she could see a basic human but nothing distinctive. She walked a little closer trying to work them out. She finally gave up when he splashed her slightly with his hair. She laughed slightly "hey, im Lyra. she said wiping her face slightly and she took her coat and shoes off and put them to the sid of the room. She placed he phone in her coat and wondered back to the pool and knelt neat the edge.
"well i'm already a little wet so a little bit more wont matter." she smiled, not that he could see and stretched out her hand "it’s nice to meet you Robert."

Robert nodded and smiled, squinting his eyes a bit so he could see more. He shook her hand “Nice to meet you too Lyra, although our surroundings aren’t that great,” he added and looked around the pool. It was getting a bit chilly and his teeth began chattering. “I think I’ll get out now. I’m starting to freeze!” In a couple of seconds he was out and went to get his towel. His slim and tall frame was visible in the dim lights. He brushed off most water on his body and hurried to put on his jeans. Taking his dark shirt in one hand he started walking to wards Lyra, waiting for her to continue.

she walked over to the sid put her flip flops back of. She turned around too see Robert. She stood and stared at him for a moment, when she realised she was staring she turned back around to get her coat, but he was fit. After she picked it up she walked over to him. "it's funny how a grown guy feels the cold so easy..." she teased "well i mean it's cute how you feel the cold." she continued to teased with a slight smile. She hoped he didn’t take it the wrong way, she just like teasing people it was in her playful personality.

Robert chuckled in a low tone, but then laughed. “Hey, I can be very tough, but honesty does get the ladies don’t you think? I can have as much pride as I wanted, but I like honesty better,” he admitted and smiled. He ran his hand through his wet hair once again. His friends always told him that was kind of a nervous habit, but he could never stop doing it. He shrugged and noticed that his dark brown hair had stopped dripping and started getting dry. He hurried and put on his dark T-shirt, while heading over to sit on the nearby bench. He was bare footed and wanted to stay that way. Shoes always seemed like an extra pain all the time.

"yer some girls a suckers for the bad boys." she smiled knowing she was one. it did annoy her slightly that she fell for the guys that messed her around, but it was always fun while it lasted. "im sure you can be very tough, i just like to tease people," she laughed "it's my type of humour. I like having fun, if you haven't guessed." she smiled
She sat on the bench next to him. She put her feet up on the bench and crossed her legs like she would have done if she was sitting on the ground. Or like what some toddlers did when they sat on floor. She looked out over the pool and started to make some small talk "so what year are you in Robert?"

Robert smiled and leaned back on the bench, relaxing a bit. He felt his eyes close, but tried to keep them open. A swim always made him tired, but he was trying to talk to a girl and relax at the same time; things he could do very well. “I’m a senior. What year are you in?” he asked, returning her question. “I think you are younger, but I bet you can pass as a senior!” he added and chuckled slightly, before opening his eyes completely and staring at the water. It was a deep shade of blue and it reflected the lights, making a great deal of shades.

she laughed, "No I'm a senior to." if it was some one else in the year they might get offended, but every one always found it hard to judge her age. " saying that I've looked like a senior for a long time, pretended to be one for a Long time until i became one to." she laughed again at her memory's. then shrugged "i guess a lot of girls look older than they are, it mush really annoy guy, i mean i started saying i was eighteen at fifteen. does that get on your nerves?" she wondered. she knew some guys got pissed off when they found out her real age, now she was eighteen she was starting to make herself pass as twenty one.

Robert looked up at her and smiled. “Senior, huh? That’s good. And I don’t really care about a girl’s age, unless she’s under 15, I would guess. I like girls that lie at times, it makes them more interesting and harder to figure out. Which is a challenge for me; and I love challenges,” he added and winked, his eyes filled with mischief. “Although I understand why some guys get mad, but I, myself don’t. Not most of the time, I can be an understanding person!” He looked at the water once again and sighed, leaning back. “You cold?” he asked and laughed. “Does that line work on girls? I always wondered. On me it always worked, when girls hinted they were cold. Although I didn’t actually ask a girl if she was cold, not usually anyways. “

"yer see, i only started lying about my age around 15, 16-ish. apparently not every one likes it when you lie about your age to get into a party, now its lying about your age to get into clubs, but it's not to hard for me, I've got a good fake id." she smiled "challenges hey? i think I'm the same. Makes life more... interesting."
"oh, I'm sure you never do ask." she laughed "and it depends who the guy is and what mood I'm in if it works, but now you mention it" she said and started to rub her arms like she was cold "it is kind of cold."

Robert started laughing . As he calmed down, he managed to say “I can sure warm you up!” he added and extended his arms as though ready to get a bear hug. “But if you don’t want to…” he trailed off and managed to look sad, but everything was completely blown off when he started laughing again. “Damn it, I can never be serious!” he admitted and ran his hand through his messy hair, that now seemed to be dried.

Lyra laughed lightly at his serious act "no i want to your saving me from the cold." she smiled and leaned against him. "so i guess your not in the drama club then?" she added. about his earlier performance that hadn't ended all that well. "I'm not all that good at acting serious either,"she laughed slightly.
"Are you in any clubs, swimming? you mush like it a lot if you brake into the swimming pool after hours just to swim." she said looking up at him.

Robert smiled and nodded. “Yup, I’m a professional swimmer, if one would say and captain of the LaCrosse team. Swimming is my life while Lacrosse is something I do for my own fun! Music is something I enjoy also, although not as much as the rest of the sports. I occupy my time with most of them. What about you? Are you in any sports or clubs? You do have the body of a cheerleader if I might add!” he said and chuckled.
