Tathelia walked into the room and smiled at the delicious scent of the food being served. Her eyes scanned the room but she couldn't spot Kristen who she was meant to meet so walked over to the food service area. Her black Loubitians knocked on the floor, catching the attention of her classmates as she walked. Her legs were bare and she wore grey checked shorts. On her upperhalf was a pale pink tunic like blouse and around her neck hung gold chains complete with intricately detailed pendants.
Tathelia smiled sweetly to the elderly woman behind the counter and looked over the food. Avoiding the purple, bubbling substance she picked up a chicken salad and a portion of curly fries, placing the plates onto her tray. She searched the fruit bowl for an unbruised apple before adding it to her tray, along with a bottle of Evian before paying. Tathelia normally ate late in the evening so finding an empty table wasn't hard. She sat at a table meant for four and placed her tray down softly. She slid her bag off her shoulder, placing it gently on the table. She pulled her copy of Plato's Republic out of her bag and opened it up to page two hundred and three. Placing a frie in her mouth she began to read. After a while Tathelia's attention wavered and she began to watch the people. "Where the hell is Kristen?" she thought to herself as she rooted through her cramed ChloƩ Paddington for her iPhone.
7:47PM the screen read. Tathelia was high impatient and began tapping her fingers on the table. Resisting the urge to text Kristen and ask her why the hell she was seveteen minutes late she put her phone back and picked the book back up.

So where exactly was Kristin Linalom? In her dorm of course. She was still getting ready, which wasn't really good considering how she would be late if she wasn't finished. Kristin had already changed into some designer jeans with some random top she picked out. It was hotpink and was slightly covered by a white, unzipped, thin jacket. Kristin was still applying her make-up, because come on. The girl had to look pretty. It's just what she wanted to be - beautiful. But who doesn't? Kristin finished applying some make-up and walked over to her bed. She picked up the cell phone. "Shit. I'm late." She muttered. The girl put the phone in her front pocket and grabbed her purse. Out the door she goes.
Little sounds could be heard if you listened closely. Those sounds came from Kristin's heels which she was obviously using when walking. She knew how Tathelisa didn't have as much patience as other people, but she didn't walk faster. And if Kristin did it wasn't much faster than before. Soon enough the female was in the dining room. She walked over to the food area where she could see a woman. Ew. Let's hope I don't turn out like her when I grow older. Kristin thought. Sure, the lady wasn't that ugly, but it wasn't like Kristin would be nice about her appearance. That was soo not going to happen. Kristin wasn't feeling too hungry so she got a salad [not any specific kind] and just water bottle.
That should be enough since Kristin wasn't hungry. If she did feel hungry later, than the girl could always get something else to eat. For now, she just wanted to not waste food and keep her figure. Spotting Tathelia, Kristin walked over to her friend and sat down. "Hey T." She said. It was much faster than saying her entire name, Tathelia. "And yes, I know I'm late." She added not too long after.

Tathelia took a final bite of her apple and rolled it up in a napkin, leaving it on the side of her tray. Apple's were most definitely her favorite fruit; she took the old saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" very seriously and often repeated it to her friends.
She flicked her eyes up and over her book to see Kristen sat in front of her complete with a salad and water bottle. Before Tathelia had a chance to bug Kristen over her timekeeping Kristen admitted her mistake, leaving Tathelia seeing it sufficient to only raise a single eyebrow. She finally broke into a smile and picked up her fork, stabbing it into a piece of chicken. "So...what's the hot goss," she said, purposely acting like a freshman. Immaturity and sarcasm were two of Tathelia's favorite things to do. She gnawed on the chicken, biting it as if it was on a kebab stick. Perhaps not eating properly should also be on that list.
Tathelia picked up her water bottle and wringed it in her hands. She sipped at it before placing it down. She stared at it for a split second before removing the label. Someone had once told her that removing labels from bottles meant that you were sexually frustrated. But come on, with a face and body like Tathelia's that was impossible.
Tathelia let her eyes scan the room, looking for a familiar face or a hot boy that she could talk to via her eyelashes. She didn't find anyone that fit either categories. A couple of freshman boys with acne smiled at her and waved before pretending to fight each other. Tathelia merely rolled her eyes back to Kristen.

Although no one really could see it at all, Kristin crossed her legs. Unless there were some students watching her from afar, nobody could really notice that she had just done that. Kristin wouldn't be exactly surprised if there were, though. There were most likely plenty of students out there that would just love to be sitting with Kristin and Tathelia. Too bad for them though because if they're just watching and not doing anything about it, most likely, nothing would happen. That is, unless they sudden get popular, which Kristin highly doubted.
Drinking some water, Kristin heard Tathelia act immature. It wasn't a bad thing because they both knew that she was only kidding. Kristin still answered her because everyone wanted to know what's been up, right? "I don't think Gossip Girl has a lot to talk about lately. Just some things about who dates who and a slut." Kristin said. She couldn't remember who was on Gossip Girl's blog but it was something like that. Kristin knew some of them, but for the ones she didn't, Kristin didn't really care about what it said. So, why not pass it on? Yeah, she was that kind of girl. Still Kristin wouldn't pass anything on if it was about her or her friends but just ignore it.
Kristin stuck her fork into the salad, but seemed to be just moving the food around more than eating it. Obviously she wasn't hungry even though this was little food to start with. Did I eat a big mean earlier? Kristin thought to herself, but she didn't think she did. Kristin had done so much today that she even forgot what she had ate earleir this day. It seemed like something she did everyday so it wasn't like the girl was all of a sudden try to remember today's food.
As Kristin continued to play with her food, she did however take a bite...Then continue to do the same. Kristin saw Tathelia look around, so she followed her friend's eyes. Eventually they led to some geeks with acne. Ew. Where were the cute guys here? Probably done with eating and outside playing some sport. Kristin thought to herself again. "They are soooo out of their league." Kristin said to Tathelia. Those boys needed to know that they shouldn't even think that they could have anything to do with Kristin and Tathelia. They were freshman and even if they were the most popular guys of the school freshmen years, Kristin would probably not care. Then again, there was a pretty low chance that they were ever going to get some popularity in Adelaide Academy.

Tathelia giggled as Kristen told her about the slut. There were alot of them at Adelaide, not that Tathelia cared much for them. She wasn't against sex, gosh it was only her favourite hobbies, but she rather that people didn't go around scream about how good x was at y and z. "Well, we better give her something to write about!" Tathelia said breezily with a smile. From the contents of her Paddington a song began to play. "S-C-A-N-D to the A to the L-O-U-S, can't handle it, can't handle it, damn that girl she's scandalous."
Tathelia's wrist jangled as she dived into her bag, her chunky bangles clinking around her slimed tanned wrist. It was a text, from Leon, her elder brother. Hey sis. I've emailed pictures from Bahamas. Haha. LY xxx Tathelia adored her brother, he was extremely protective of her but they got on well. A few weeks ago they took their father's boat to the Bahamas, holding a two week long party. It was a blast and Tathelia couldn't wait to see the photos. Hey, I will check 'em out when I get back to the room! LY too xxx she replied, her fingers quickly sliding over the buttons.
Looking back up to Kristen Tathelia smiled. "It was Leon. He's emailed me the Bahama pictures." Tathelia giggled at the prospect of looking at them, she remembered taking a couple drunkenly while Kristen was hooking up with some random guy with a tatoo. She betted that a similarly drunk Kristen couldn't wait to see them.
"They are sooo out of their league" exclaimed Kristen causing Tathelia to cock her head back and laugh. It was true. Tathelia wouldn't be seen dead with anyone younger than a junior, unless they were family and then the subject was still dodgy, and they normally had to be rather popular too. It was an elitest view but she knew that the unwashed gothic kids were the same; the stuck to their own. "I know. We need to find us some boys who are in our league, damn it. I'm in desperate need of some loving" giggled Tathelia before laughing again.

Kristin slightly giggled when Tathelia said that the two should give Gossip Girl something to talk about. "I think she's already trying so hard to get something on us." Kristin spoke. "And although I have no idea who she is, I love the bitch to death." Obviously Kristin was just kidding. She sometimes appreciated Gossip Girl's blog entries because they told the truth. Sometimes Kristin may need to know something about a friend and the only person that can get information was Gossip Girl and her little 'spies'. Kristin wasn't desperate enough to just give the girl something for her to post up, but she knew that it was going to come eventually. If only Kristin knew when.
Or at least what she might do that would get herself on the blog. Gossip Girl was constantly looking around for something and it wasn't easy to make Kristin want to crawl under a rock. The Gossip Girl blog never really affected her but that was just because Kristin was that kind of girl. She was used to insults and whatnot. When someone constantly called her the same thing or tried to hurt her with the same words, the sting kind of went away. Sure, there are those things that just hurt, but not many people know Kristin's weaknesses. Actually, nobody knows but herself. She wasn't going to take a chance with friends, even if they are the best. For example, Tathelia. She was amazing, but Kristin didn't trust anyone easily.
Sure, she'll tell Tathelia things here and there, but never anything big. Part of the reason for that was because Kristin had nothing big to say. Let's just keep it that way. She thought to herself. Kristin took another bite of her salad, and once again went back to playing with it as Tathelia texted back. The girl was quick with texting but anyone who was anyone texted. "Bahama pictures?" Kristin repeated, showing only a slight bit of interest. "Soo...He's in the Bahamas and we're stuck here? That's just not right." Kristin said. Adelaide Academy didn't have many things interesting. Why couldn't she be in some other busy and fun town?
Kristin heard Tathelia's reply. "It's like all the good ones are taken." Kristin said. "And not just by anyone known. More like taken by some nobody." And it was true. Some hot guys that Kristin hadn't already hooked up with [there is something wrong with that sentence] were taken by some wanderers. No real clique, but why? If people wanted to be known they should at least find a group that they could fit in. If people go around without cliques, they can't really be trusted. What was this? Elementary school? No. This was high school and unless the older days, you really shouldn't go around trying to befriend everyone. That wasn't the best way to look at things, but that was how Kristin's mind worked.

It was probably true that gossip girl's little spies were hiding around the room, waiting for one of them to let slip that they were a drug addict so they could take their parents careers down like that. Unlikely though, any scent of a drug problem and Tathelia's parents would whisk her away to rehab before you could say crack cocaine. Tathelia squealed slightly, "No! I bet that's who those acne ridden freshmen are! Her spies!" Giggling Tathelia looked over to them again. "Better get on her good side!" she said, smiling. She reached into her bag and took out a mirror and her lipgloss. Making sure the spotty little boys were watching she slowly applied the gloss to her full lips. When she was done she shut the mirror and smiled at the boys. She winked at them before blowing them a kiss. Their eyes widened with shock and Tathelia looked back at Kristen, motionless for a couple of seconds before bursting out into laughter. "Okay, that was dumb." she said finally.
"No silly," said Tathelia in reply to Kristens mini rant. "The pictures from last summer when we took the boat down to there. But I agree about the dullness of Adelaide. I'm in need of a party." Tathelia was a true party girl. She couldn't go a few weeks without holding one of her own, perferably somewhere off campus and with five stars to its name. The Plaza for example, which just happened to be Tathelia's favourite hotel.
Tathelia nodded in agreement. "Average girls with hot guys should be illegal. I'm seriously thinking of moving to England or becoming a lesbian, anything to get a partner." she laughed to herself. It would be okay to move to England actually. She had friends there and the boys had cute accents and dressed well. But New York City felt like home for now. It was good to be back.

No more of the salad was eaten by Kristin. She was still in the 'not so hungry because I lost my appetite' mood. Kristin knew that she would most likely get a little hungry later but it wasn't like she cared. Plus, she could always get some more when she felt like it. There was a big chance that she would feel like getting more food but would eat something little. When Kristin didn't feel hungry at dinner, she usually wasn't hungry after that. For some reason breakfast and lunch were different but that's just how her body worked. Kristin couldn't change things like that about herself because things in this world just don't work that way.
Kristin smiled when Tathelia said that the acne geeks might be Gossip Girl's spies. "Hah. In that case they are really bad. I think spies are suppose to be hidden and not flirt with people they have no chance with." Kristin spoke. "Then again, I have no idea how Gossip Girl's mind works." She gave a little shurgged and looked down at her food. Kristin looked up just in time to see Tathelia pretending to flirt with the boys. When she looked back, there seemed to be a silence for a few seconds, but both girls laughed almost at the same time. "Don't be surprised when they start thinking that you're their new girlfriend." From the looks from those boys, they probably wouldn't mind sharing a girlfriend anyways.
When Tathelia mentioned the Bahama pictures, Kristin replied, "Still not fair. I didn't go anywhere special last summer." Kristin had went to many places actually. Of course there was the places like the pool but the list included 'hanging out' with some hot guys. "I would throw a party, but it's not like I can do that in the dorms. Plus, the headmistress would probably notice when drunken students start walking around the academy." Kristin let out a little giggle when Tathelia mentioned some things about meeting a guy, "I haven't really found one that really stands out." Kristin said. When she saw the freshmen boys once again looking at their table, she added. "Standing out in a good way."
